Earth Day 2022 Freebies & Deals
When is Earth Day? Earth Day is April 22, 2022. But, is Earth Day Cancelled due to COVID-19, the Coronavirus Pandemic? Heck NO! Absolutely not! Earth Day is going digital in 2022, at Earthday.org. There’s a ton of great material there you should check out!
EARTH DAY 2022 INVEST IN OUR PLANET
This is the moment to change it all — the business climate, the political climate, and how we take action on climate. Now is the time for the unstoppable courage to preserve and protect our health, our families, and our livelihoods.
For Earth Day 2022, we need to act (boldly), innovate (broadly), and implement (equitably). It’s going to take all of us. All in. Businesses, governments, and citizens — everyone accounted for, and everyone accountable. A partnership for the planet.
The first Earth Day was celebrated on April 22, 1970, as a teach-in project organized by Senator Gaylord Nelson from Clear Lake, Wisconsin (that’s my hometown!) By 1990, Earth Day celebrated worldwide. And, now it has evolved into Earth Week and even Earth Month! During this celebration, people of all ages, races and backgrounds come together for a common good.
Earth Day Activities include picking up trash and garbage, planting trees, cleaning up coral reefs, and planning for a better future for our planet. Earth Day was started by Senator Gaylord Nelson, who happens to be from the same tiny town in Wisconsin that I’m from! It started as an environmental teach-in. In other words, a day to learn about how to take better care of the earth. Please check back as we update our big list of Earth Day freebies for 2019!
