Free Backpack & School Supplies at Verizon (July 31st)
It’s hard to believe it’s time for Back To School shopping but it is coming!
On average, families spend about $789 on school supplies each year. 1 in 5 school-aged children live in poverty.
Every year Verizon holds a School Rocks Backpack Giveaway. Each child can get a free backpack full of free back-to-school supplies. This year, the event will take place on Sunday, July 31st from 1-4 pm at select Verizon locations and they will have 130,000 to giveaway.
Every person who gets a free backpack will be entered to win one of five $10,000 college scholarships.
Your child must be present to receive a backpack.
