Free Entrance Day at National Parks for 2022
Are you ready to make plans to visit your National Parks? Here are the free Entrance Days that will allow you to come on down for free! Some National Parks have reopened, but do have specific guidelines and rules for keeping you and your family safe during your visit. Look to see if there is a National Park near you that has reopened. Please check the park’s guidelines and rules for keeping your family and you safe.
Come experience the national parks! On five days in 2022, all National Park Service sites that charge an entrance fee will offer free admission to everyone. Mark your calendar for these entrance fee-free dates in 2022:

- January 17: Birthday of Martin Luther King, Jr.
- April 16: First day of National Park Week
- August 4: Anniversary of the Great American Outdoors Act
- September 24: National Public Lands Day
- November 11: Veterans Day
The entrance fee waiver for fee-free days does not cover amenities or user fees for activities such as camping, boat launches, transportation, or special tours.
