I haven’t gotten anything free. Is this Real?
Yes it is! But don’t take our word for it! Our fans share the freebies they’ve received with us all the time, so check out our fans’ photos on Facebook. It’s real. 🙂
Here’s how it works: If you’re just getting started, be sure to review how to effectively request freebies. We post offers to freebies – we don’t give things away (with a few exceptions, like when we’re hosting a giveaway that someone can win).
- Leaving your address in comments on freeBfinder or social media will not get you anything. You need to click the hyperlinks in each offer post, and request from each company who is offering free samples and free stuff.
- FreeBfinder finds companies who want to give their product away so people can try them. For example, if P&G wants to give away Tide samples, we’ll report that by posting on freeBfinder.com and sharing on our social media. If you want the Tide sample, go to the free Tide Sample post we made, click the hyperlink in our post to go to their free sample offer and fill out your shipping info on their form.
- We post dozens of freebie offers every day. Choose the ones you want, read our instructions, and request each individually to get them!
- Most freebies take between 6-12 weeks to arrive. Some come faster, and some may take even longer. Some can take up to 6 months or more! But, after you’ve filled out your shipping info for companies you want free samples from, you’ll start getting those free things in your mailbox daily. It’s like every day is your birthday! 🙂
- Don’t get discouraged if you haven’t received anything right away! Keep on plugging away and soon you’ll be swimming in great free stuff.
- Not good at waiting? We totally understand that! Check out the free things {in store} at the top of the page. We share free things you can get in local stores — like Target, Walmart and CVS — for instant freebie gratification.
Why do I end up taking “endless surveys” and never find anything free.
As you might imagine, running a huge website is expensive. So, we do have ads on our website. We appreciate you following any ads you’re interested in, but it’s important to know the difference between an ad and the freebie link.
Unlike an ad, we will explain to you in the post exactly what you need to do to get the free offer. It’s important that you slow down and read the post, then follow the directions. Because, we explain in the post what you need to do. So, please take a minute a read through it.
Is it Safe to Give My Information out Online?
- Don’t fall for fakes and scams! Some malicious websites are created to steal your private information or spam you via email or regular postal mail. The best way to stay safe online is to follow this website, freeBfinder! We personally verify the legitimacy of every single offer we post. It takes a lot more time, but we feel it’s worth it to protect our friends. If in doubt, check the freeBfinder’s Big List of Fake Freebies to Avoid. Why not join our free daily email list right now? Be sure to click the link in the email they’ll send to confirm your subscription.
- Set up and use an Alternate Email address. Check out GMail to set up a free email address to use specifically for freebie offers. That way your personal email box won’t be cluttered with offers!!
- Use a disposable email for questionable sites. For those offers you’re just not sure are legit, check out Mailinator – a disposable email address that will ensure you won’t get spammed. Another option is 10 Minute Mail. Double check a freebie’s credibility against our Fake Freebie alerts, so you never get sucked into something that isn’t legit. We work hard to bring you the MOST freebies… including the ones others share that you should avoid!
- Set up and use an Alternate Phone Number. Check out Google Voice to set up a free phone number to use in forms, so you don’t have to use your home number!
- Get a good anti-virus program and keep it updated! I personally like Avast. They have a free version and a paid version, but I’ve never used the paid version.
- Get a good anti-malware program, run it regularly and keep it updated! I personally like Malwarebytes Antimalware. And, of course, it’s free
What if I Signed Up for a Fake Freebie?
What to do if you’ve signed up for a Fake Freebie? Find out if a free sample is legitimate in the Gimmie’s Big List of Fake Freebies to Avoid. Typically, fake freebies are harmless. If they’re just trying to get your info or have you sign up so they get paid, the worst that can happen is you’ll get a lot of spam. I recommend having a secondary email account & phone number to use for signing up for freebies. Learn more in this Getting Started FAQ (Is it safe to give out my phone number for Freebies? and How do I avoid a lot of Spam in my Email?) And for those freebies you’re just not sure about, you can use a mailinator email account that was created especially to fight spam. Learn more in this Getting Started FAQ (How do I avoid a lot of Spam in my Email?) If you’ve signed up for a freebie that we’ve deemed malicious, malware or viruses may have been loaded on your computer. Run a scan with a good antivirus program and/or a malware fighter such as Malwarebytes Antimalware. They have a free version that works fine and will remove threats on your computer. And be sure you have a good antivirus program whenever you’re connected to any network, including the internet! A nice, free antivirus program I’ve used a lot is Avast. They have a paid version but I’ve never used it. Learn more in this Getting Started FAQ (How do I avoid a lot of Spam in my Email?) If you’ve signed up for an offer on Facebook, you may want to remove the app so they can’t access your profile or post on your behalf.
What if they want my Phone Number?
Probably, but we recommend that you set up and use an Alternate Phone Number. Check out Google Voice to set up a free phone number to use in forms, so you don’t have to use your home number!
