National Flip Flop Day is Friday, May 31s, 2023. And, Tropical Smoothie Café is once again offering FREE 12 oz Strawberry Margarita Smoothies from 2-7 pm to anyone that comes in wearing flip flops!
What’s it for?
Every year on the third Friday in June, it is National Flip Flop Day! So, grab your flip flops sandals and wear them to your local smoothie shop. Because, you’ll want to wear your flip flops and use #NationalFlipFlopDay hashtag on social media.
The tradition began back in 2007, when Tropical Smoothie Cafe created National Flip Flop Day to celebrate its 10th anniversary.
This is for a great cause, Camp Sunshine! Topical Smoothie Cafe has donated more than $1 million to their partner charity which supports families of children with life-threatening illnesses.

About Camp Sunshine
Camp Sunshine is a year-round retreat located in Casco, Maine, 30 miles from Portland on Sebago Lake. Since its inception, Camp Sunshine has offered comfort, hope, and support to over 43,500 individuals from 48 states and 23 countries. Camp Sunshine is currently the only full-time facility in the nation whose sole purpose is to provide respite for the whole family. The camp programs provide respite to children with life-threatening illnesses and their immediate families through various stages of the child’s illness.
