Have a New Year’s resolution to work out? Even if you weren’t planning to go to Miami this month for the Wodapalooza workout festival, you could score a pair of workout wristbands free by mail. All you’ll need to do is ask! Supplies are limited though, so don’t wait. You can pick them up or you can have them mailed to you for free.
When you’re working out, you’re supposed to sweat. Yes, I know that might be unpleasant to some but it’s actually a good thing. And, when you sweat, that might drip into your eyes. That’s where big fluffy wristbands like this are so helpful! You can use them like a terrycloth towel to wipe the sweat from your brows and keep it out of your eyes.
I had a set of these from years ago. I think there was even a matching headband in my old set. Sadly, the elastic had crusted over and they just weren’t salvageable. So, I am excited to get a new set. They really do come in handy.
In case I hadn’t told you before, I bought a Peloton workout bike second-hand. I’m so excited about it! I’ve wanted one since they came out. I even asked the company to give me one to review! Worth a shot, right? Well, they said no. They were polite, but I imagined them giggling in the background. Fast forward about 8 years, and I finally broke down and bought one. I’ve been watching classified ads this whole time, waiting for prices to drop. I finally found one in my “buy it now” price (a price I decide I’m comfortable with, which I’m fully aware may never happen!)
Two things I learned, much to my dismay about buying a used Peloton bike: first, there’s a $95 used equipment fee that they charge when you register a used bike. WHAT!?
