We chatted with Haagen Dazs on their website and they said they don’t have all the details ironed out yet. But, it is on according to them. I’ve been stalking their page, and you heard it here first. They haven’t even announced it yet!
Last year, they changed it to a whole week!
For 2021, Free Cone Day has been changed to Free Cone Week. Valid from May 10th (Monday) thru May 14th (Friday)

NOTE: their website still refers to 2020 when they cancelled, however we know they are planning to have it this year.

We dedicated this Free Cone Day to our buzziest workers – the honey bees. In recent years, the honey bee population has been disappearing at an alarming rate, affecting pollination and putting our food system at risk. For the past decade, Häagen-Dazs has been a big defender of honey bees who help us create our most beloved flavors like Strawberry, Rocky Road and Mango. As a part of the “Häagen-Dazs loves Honey Bees” initiative, we hope to give our flying friends some much needed recognition this Free Cone Day.
