What is National Nurse Week?

National Nurses Week begins on May 6 and ends on May 12. Because, May 12 is Florence Nightingale’s Birthday! Of course, she was a famous nurse in the 1800s who improved unsanitary conditions during the Crimean War. As a result, she and a team of nurses improved the unsanitary conditions at a British base hospital, reducing the death count by two-thirds. We’ve come a long way to Chick fil A Nurse Appreciation, but we’ll take it!

Chic-fil-A Nurses Week Appreciation Freebies

Chick-fil-A is always a fan favorite. If they offer freebies, we’re on it. But, they recommend that you check with your local restaurant to be sure. Or, check their website. Because, many offer great National Nurses Week Freebies. For this one, healthcare professionals will need to show their work ID to get Nurses Week Freebies at Chick-fil-A.

However, they don’t typically announce a nationwide offer which makes it difficult for us to share here.

Culvers has restaurants throughout the central United States. You can find a Culvers location on their website. However, Each Culver’s is independently operated and makes its own decisions about which special deals to offer. Feel free to reach out to your local Culver’s to see if they are participating.

Dog Haus

On May 6, anyone can grab a Haus dog for takeout, curbside pickup and to-go orders and they’ll donate $1 to The American Nurses Foundation.
