About The Christmas Tree Project
The Christmas Tree Project started back in 2010. In 2010 the couple that started the project put an ad on Craig’s list giving away a Christmas Tree and got over 20 responses. What started with one simple kind gesture in Colorado turned into giving away thousands of fully decorated trees to people around the world. Every year they collect, trees, decorations and cash donations. After Thanksigving they get all the volunteers they can to put the trees together.
All you need to do is fill out the form to apply. You will put in your shipping information and a little bit about why your family would like to receive a free tree. Obviously, not everyone will receive one but this could really help a family out this year! Maybe even think about starting a similar project in your hometown? Or maybe simply donate supplies.
