The A is for Apple Program at Applebee’s gives kids a certificate for a free kids’ meal. Students, 12 & under, who excel in academics (or other areas determined by their teachers) receive an “A” is for Applebee’s award card which can be redeemed for a FREE meal from our Kid’s Menu. Applebee’s can be found in all 50 states, nationwide.

Baskin-Robbins 31 Flavors Student Incentives

Baskin-Robbins gives students a free scoop of ice cream for good grades. Check with your local B&R for participation, or ask your child’s teacher for a Baskin Robbins Honor Roll Free Scoop Certificate.

Bob Evans

Select Bob Evans locations offer a free scoop of ice cream for students that received good grades. Bob Evans has nearly 500 locations in 18 states, primarily in the Midwest, mid-Atlantic and Southeast regions of the United States.

Burger King

In past years Burger King has offered a free hamburger for good grades at participating locations. Check with your local BK to see if they’re in!

Cheryl & Co Cookies for A’s

Cheryl & Co Cookies for As offers a free cookie for every A on report card at participating locations. You can find Cheryl’s Cookies in OH & Beverly Hills, CA.

Chick-fil-A Good Grades = Free Nuggets

Students with good grades can score a free 8-pack of chicken nuggets or a free ice cream cone for A’s and B’s at some locations. Please check at your local Chick-fil-A to see if they’re participating.

Chuck E Cheeses extra tokens for Good Report Cards

Kids earn up to 15 tokens for good grades at Chuck E. Cheese’s. So, check with your local restaurant for participation.

Cold Stone Creamery

In the past, Cold Stone Creamery has offered ice cream for good grades. Kindergarten students up to fifth graders are eligible. However, we recommend that you check with your local store for participation. Cold Stone Creamery has over 900 locations nationwide.

Dairy Queen

At participating Dairy Queen locations, you could score free DQ ice cream for good grades. Dairy Queen fast food and ice cream has locations nationwide.

Emagine Luxury Theaters

In past years Emagine has offered a free small combo with a ticket purchase, when you show a final report card with a 3.5 GPA. Emagine Entertainment can be found in Michigan, Illinois, Minnesota and Wisconsin.

Graeter’s Ice Cream

Follow Graeter’s on Facebook for any Report Card Rewards. Apparently, they don’t have this promo going on right now, but they could announce it at any time as they have in the past. Graeter’s can be found in 50 locations throughout the Midwest. Additionally, it can be shipped nationwide. And, this ice cream is also sold in retail stores nationwide.


The International House of Pancakes offers free kids meal with a good report card grades. So, check with your local IHOP for participation. IHOP restaurants can be found nationwide.

Jason’s Deli Kid Cash and Pickle Reward Cards for Kids

Request your Jason’s Deli Kid Cash for good grades! Reward students for good grades, good efforts or good deeds through their Kid Cash program. Students love the free food it offers; parents like that food is free from high-fructose corn syrup, artificial trans fats and flavors, processed MSG, and dyes. Children ages 1-12 can be Kid Cash recipients. Kid Cash is valid only at participating Jason’s Deli restaurants and good for dine-in meals only. Jason’s Deli serves guests at 250 delis in 28 states. Jason’s Deli JD Pickle Reward – Teachers and parents can award children under 12 J.D. Pickle Cards to redeem for a free kids’ meal.

Krispy Kreme Good Grades Program

At participating Krispy Kreme donut locations, children can get a free doughnut for As on report card. Kids can claim up to 6 free donuts with good grades. Join the Krispy Kreme More Smiles club to get even more free food.

Long John Silvers Student Rewards

School administrators can contact their local Long John Silvers restaurant to see if they have any rewards for good grades programs, and sign up their district. And, you can join the Sea Mail club to get your own discounts and coupons. LJS has over 630 locations nationwide.

Marco Pizza

Marco Pizza – will give all “A” students a small 1 topping pizza; one per student. Check out their partnership with Family Video Report Card As. Marco’s Pizza  has over 1,000 stores across 34 states with locations in Puerto Rico and the Bahamas.

Melting Pot – free meal for good grades

Good students earn free “Fun-Due” at The Melting Pot with A’s on their report card. Show the child’s report card to your server, and receive a Three-Course Petite Feast. This meal includes cheese, a pick-three entrée, and chocolate fondue. Requires purchase of an equal or greater value entree and a beverage. Check with your local restaurant for participation. There are nearly 100 Melting Pot fondue restaurants in AL, AZ, CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, HI, ID, IL, KY, LA, MA, MD, MI, MN, NC, NE, NJ, NM, NV, NY, OH, OK, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, and WI.

McDonald’s Report Card Rewards

At participating McD’s locations, Kindergarten through 5th grade earn a free happy meal, and 6 through 12 grade get a free value meal with straight A’s!

Noah’s Bagels

Snag a free bagel for every A on your kids’ report cards at Noah’s Bagels. Sign up for the Noah’s Rewards club too. Freebies are valid for grades 1-8. And, be sure to check with your local restaurant for participation.

Peter Piper – free pizza with good report cards

Free 7″ 1-topping Peter Piper pizza for good grades on the students report card. They have locations in TX, NM, AZ, CA, MX. So, be sure to contact your local Peter Piper Pizza to see if and how they’re participating.

Pizza Hut Student Freebies

Good grades will score kids a free Pizza Hut personal pan pizza and beverage! Offer available to Elementary- thru Middle School-age kids, with at least 3 A’s, and is for dine-in only. And don’t forget to register for the Book It program (read our Book It review to learn how) which offers free personal pan pizzas throughout the year for meeting reading goals. Get a free Qdoba kids meal for A’s on your report card. Check with your local restaurant for participation. Qdoba has 700 locations in 47 states, the District of Columbia and Canada.

Sonic Drive-In

Sonic Drive-In – offers free stuff for students with good grades, plus incentives for teachers and schools. Participating locations only, so be sure to call ahead and make sure yours has a program. Also promote Limeades for Learning Program, which has donated more than $2.7 million dollars to teachers’ projects since 2009.

Sprinkles Cupcakes

Sprinkles has been known to offer incentives for good grades. So, follow them on their Facebook page for updates on possible report card rewards, which they sometimes announce there.

Wayback Burgers

Score a free kids meal with A’s on report cards. Check with your local Wayback Burgers restaurant.

Free Entertainment & Admission for Good Students

Free Bowling  – Previously, Bowl America (now Bowlero) Students can get 5 FREE games if you earned an “A” (or the equivalent grade) over the course of the school year. Use these free games throughout the summer. However, they’ve now sold to Bowlero and haven’t announced a new program. So, check with your local bowling alley. Family Video – Free video rental for A’s in “core” classes, Kindergarten through college, in their Report Card A program.

Minor League Baseball – Flying Squirrels (Richmond, VA) – Score An A and go to the ballgame! With this Free Admission Ticket Program, for every “A” on your current K-12 report card you will earn a FREE General Admission ticket to a regular season Richmond Flying Squirrels’ game!

Good Grades Equal Free Money!

Credit Unions & Banks often reward members who get good grades. So, check with YOUR bank or credit union! Many will deposit money for each A and B your student “earns!” Here are a few we found:

  • Alpine Bank Pays for A’s! Reward your child for getting good grades. Bring a copy of your child’s most recent school report card to Alpine Bank. We’ll draw winning report cards, which will receive $10 for A’s or 4’s and $5 for B’s or 3’s for five main subjects. That means a straight-A report card could earn your child $50 cash! Deadlines: January 31 and June 30.
  • AOD Federal Credit Union – All youth members, grades K-12, will be eligible to have money deposited into his or her savings account for receiving a great report card! In other words, students may earn $2.00 for every “A” grade on a report card, $1.00 for every “B” grade on a report card and $0.50 for every “C” grade on a report card.
  • America’s First Federal Credit Amfirst Honor Dollars Bonus Program (part of the Kids First Club) rewards small students for big grades. Bring your child’s most recent report card with all A’s and B’s to any branch and they’ll make a $5 deposit into their Kids First Club account.
  • First Southern National Bank Pays for As, and will deposit $1.00 into a savings account for every “A” a student makes on his or her report card, up to $10 per grading period. Students should bring their report card to any First Southern branch to redeem.
  • Zions Bank Pays for A’s! Hardworking middle school, junior high, and high school students (ages 12 to 18) in Utah and Idaho can earn $1 per “A” on their 2019-2020 report cards. (Sorry, “A-” grades aren’t eligible.) So, eligible students are also entered for a chance to win scholarship savings accounts worth up to $1,000.

Car Insurance Discounts for Good Grades

Auto Insurance – Parents with teen drivers: be sure to shop around for auto insurance that rewards good grades! Start by telling your current insurance company that your child is a good student. Many insurance companies reward families with good lower rates. Check out our best finds.

If your student is old enough to drive, then get discounts for good grades on car insurance! Here are a few programs we’ve found.

  • Esurance: 5-10% off for maintaining a B average
  • Farmers Insurance:  get a discount of up to 25% if your child is in the top 20% of their class, has a 3.0 or higher GPA, and/or is on the Dean’s List or Honor Roll
  • Geico: save up to $200 on an insurance policy with student discount
  • Liberty Mutual: students with a B (3.0) average are given preferential rates
  • Progressive’s Good Student Discount is for students with a B average or better
  • State Farm: Save up to 25% – up to age 25! – if your student driver gets good grades

Good Grades & Report Card Rewards start at Home!

Report Card Rewards at home? Yes! Because, YOU can offer your kids rewards. Of course, rewards for good grades can be money or they can be free. In other words, don’t feel like you need to pay for something they should be doing anyway. However, a little motivation can help keep kids focused. So, get creative and talk to your kids about what would motivate them.

Ideas for Report Card Good Grades Rewards at Home

  1. Report Card Party!  In other words, have a party and invite friends or family!
  2. Kid’s Choice! Children love to go to the movies! So, reward for good grades with movie night. In other words, let your kids decide what they want to do!
  3. Keep it Simple! Do something easy but memorable. Such as going to the park! So, leave the smartphones and tablets at home! Remember, they don’t stay young for long!
  4. Check out a local museum together and learn something new And, BofA customers can get Free Museum Admission!
  5. Take a hike! Of course, nothing says “great job!” like getting up off the couch and doing something monumental! Pack a picnic lunch (or try our homemade trail mix recipe + 5 Healthy Ingredients to use!), then hit the trail together!
  6. Get Moving! So, grab your bikes and see where they take you. Tell your kids about how you got around before you got your driver’s license. Whether it was by bicycle, skateboard or Rollerblades — they might not realize there was ever a younger you! ?
  7. Game Night! In other words, grab some board games and spend quality time together, unplugged, as a family!
