Where to Score a Free Thanksgiving Turkey and Christmas Ham
Many grocery stores offer free or discounted Thanksgiving turkey and Christmas ham for the Holidays. It’s a great time to stock up and save! While this is most of the major stores, be sure to check in your area for smaller grocery stores that may offer freebies!
BJ’s Wholesale Club
To get a free Butterball turkey, BJ’s members need to spend $150 in one single transaction online or instore between November 1st and 10th. You can shop either online or in store. Then, you will get a coupon for a free whole turkey – fresh or frozen, redeemable November 12th – 23rd. This was announced in a press release. BJs are located in CT, DE, FL, GA, ME, MD, MA, NH, NJ, NY,NC, SC, OH, PA, RI, and VA.

Keep your eyes peeled for their weekly circulars leading up to Thanksgiving. They usually have free or drastically reduced prices on Turkey and Ham for rewards members.
Foodtown
Foodtown is giving away free turkeys give you a free turkey, ham or lasagne meals to rewards members who spend at least $400 during the weeks before Thanksgiving. Foodtown has stores in New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania.
Hy-vee
Hy-Vee stores are once again offering customers a free Honeysuckle white turkey. To qualify, simply buy a Cure 81 Ham at $3.99 per pound. Just be sure to purchase by Dec. 13, to get your free Thanksgiving turkey. As a bonus, you’ll also earn $0.50 rewards for Fuel Saver card holders when you buy the ham.
Kroger and Affiliates
Check your Kroger Weekly Ad. Dates and offers vary by store and region, but through the season you can score discounted main courses for Thanksgiving with qualifying $25 purchases.

Safeway & Affiliate Stores
Through November 14, shoppers can earn a free Signature Farms frozen turkey. Simply spend $160 or more in the Rewards Just for U loyalty program to qualify for a free turkey weighing up to 22lbs (up to $16 value). This offer is valid at Safeway and affiliate stores, such as Safeway, Albertsons, Randalls, Jewel Osco, Pavilions, Star Market, Shaws, or Acme Markets.
ShopRite Free Turkey
ShopRite is once again offering a FREE Turkey or Ham for the Holidays. To qualify for your free Thanksgiving ham or turkey, you must spend a total of $400. And, you have from October 16th until Thanksgiving to qualify. ShopRite is located in CT, DE, MD, NJ, NY and PA.
Weis Markets
Weis Markets Rewards has a free Thanksgiving meal available to those who spend $400 between Oct. 6 to Nov. 24.
