Wipe Out! Class Action Settlement, Claim Up to $25 with No Receipts!
If you purchased Wipe Out! wipes or spray, then you may be entitled to compensation in this class action settlement. As Wipe Out! themselves claim in a PSA on their website, these disinfectant surface wipes should not be used to disinfect surfaces. (Confusing, much?)
According to the Department of Justice, “TZUMI sold these products without submitting them to EPA for registration, a mandatory process that allows EPA to assess the safety and effectiveness of the products. TZUMI specifically targeted lower-income customers for sale of one of its products, “Wipe Out! Wipes.” ”
The settlement is known as Proskin, et al. v. Tzumi Innovations, LLC, Case no. No. 22-cv-05919-JSR, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.

Who is eligible for a refund?
You are a Class Member if you purchased any of the following Wipe Out! Products in the United States on or before April 19, 2023: Wipe Out! Wipes, Wipe Out! Multi-Surface Wipes, or Wipe Out! Multi-Surface Decontaminant Spray.
Is a receipt required?
Proof of purchase is not required. However, if you have receipts, you may be able to claim more.
How much will I get back?
- If you are entitled to relief and have valid proof of purchase, you will be entitled to submit a claim for $3 per purchased Product up to $15.00 in cash, subject to pro-rata adjustment. If total claims is lower than the settlement fund, payments will increase capped at $50.
- If you are entitled to relief and do not have proof of purchase, you will be entitled to submit a claim for $2.00 per purchased Product up to $6.00 in cash, subject to pro rata adjustment. If total claims is lower than the settlement fund, payments will increase capped at $25.

What is a class action lawsuit settlement?
For example, a class action lawsuit is one with multiple plaintiffs. In other words, there are more than one person being represented by the lawsuit. In other words, a plaintiff or plaintiffs file the case on behalf of many people who were affected by aren’t involved in the actual suit.
